Fountain citizens invited to City Hall on Monday, August 17

A meeting on a proposed ballot question on August 17 at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers will provide more detailed information about ballot the question under consideration.

Fountain City Council is looking at taking a ballot question to the voters this November regarding transportation.

This effort, called “Moving Fountain Forward” is designed to provide funding for:
• Specific capital improvements such as intersection improvements, Railroad Quiet Zones, and ADA ramps on sidewalks
• Continuation of bus services
• Ongoing maintenance for our deteriorating streets

The Fountain City Council wants to ensure that the citizens have this information, are able to share their thoughts and ideas and ask questions relative to this ballot question.
