Pikes Peak 99's appoints new officers

The Pikes Peak 99s, a local chapter of "The International Organization of Women Pilots" aka "The 99s", held elections in May and are proud to announce the Officers for 2009 – 2010.

* Chair: Jamie Miceli, Student Pilot and FTP Award winner
* Vice-Chair: Danielle Malanczuk-Mooneyham, Student Pilot
* Treasure: Mary Reppard, ASEL (Aircraft Single Engine Land) Pilot
* Secretary: Diane Rose, ASEL (Aircraft Single Engine Land) Pilot

Pikes Peak Chapter members are from areas in Colorado such as: Colorado Springs, Fountain, Canon City, Pueblo, Lamar, etc.

Our mission statement is to:

*PROMOTE world fellowship through flight ---

*PROVIDE networking and scholarship opportunities for women --- AND --aviation education in the community ---

*PRESERVE the unique history of women in aviation.

On a personal level, we encourage each member to reach her full potential as a pilot. The 99s also has a mentoring program for aspiring professional women pilots.

Regularly scheduled meetings are held the second Monday of each month, 6:00 PM, at Colorado Springs Jet Center, 1575 Aviation Way, Colorado Springs, CO.
