Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group Names CFO
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Kevin Light has been named chief financial officer of Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group. In this key position, Light will ensure that thousands in the Pikes Peak Region are provided wellness solutions, including mental health and substance abuse treatment, career development, education and restorative justice services.
Light has served as interim CFO since February 2009. Previously, he served as vice president of finance for Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group, financial operations manager for the United States Olympic Committee, accounts payable manager for Brookharts Lumbers Inc., and controller for Old Chicago Casino in Cripple Creek .
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs .
In this new role, Light is responsible for all financial and fiscal management of the $50 million organization, including business planning, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and forecasting. He will oversee the departments of accounting and information technology, while providing support to human resources, legal, and marketing and communications departments.
“Kevin endured a rigorous series of interviews with our board of directors and corporate leadership team earlier this week and it was clear that he was the right person for this important position,” said Morris L. Roth, president and CEO of Pikes Peak Behavioral Health Group.
